This is a shot from my experimental phonetics class. We painted our tongues/palates and then took pictures of the contact points using fancy flashlights and polished steel as a mirror. There are more pictures of me getting my tongue painted, and of extending my tongue to let it be photographed, but I think you get the idea of how fun it was from this image.
